Pinkston Paddlesports Centre, Glasgow
Patrick Parsons have been involved with the £2.5million development from feasibility stages working with EPD, Patrick Parsons have provided structural, civil, mechanical and electrical, CDM and planning services, making this the first package course to be implemented in the world.
We were responsible for the outline and detail design of the paddle sports centre, isolation of Pinkston Basin Canoe Polo Course, design for the centres facilities including changing rooms, classrooms, tower and foundations, design of canoe club storage units, design of new access bridge and hard and soft landscaping and finally assessment of existing bridge access to Pinkston Island.
