PPL provide expert flood risk advice at Pagham, West Sussex

Anthony Cowey, Infrastructure Director at Patrick Parsons Limited has been commissioned by Pagham Parish Council to assess the flood defences along the Pagham coast line and produce a report on his findings. His study is the most visible aspect of the council's extensive work on behalf of local residents from flooding.
Whilst carrying out field studies and survey work, Anthony worked alongside stakeholders and interested parties in assessing the current defences and future requirements for the area. The parish council will use the report in its talks with the Environment Agency and the district council and the findings will play a vital part in a larger study which is currently ongoing. It is hoped the reports will provide a better understanding of how the harbour and beaches will change over the next hundred years, allowing any future scheme to reduce the risks to the local community from flooding and erosion.
