Mechanical and Electrical Team Expand

Gerard has joined the company as a Mechanical Engineer within the Building Services team. Gerard’s career to date has included all aspects of mechanical H.E.V.A.C. design in buildings, from initial concept to detailed design stage. Gerard also specialises in renewable and low carbon energy system design for buildings.
In the Newcastle office Gerard is responsible for producing fully coordinated mechanical building services designs, producing working mechanical drawings, attending project design team and client meetings and compiling mechanical services specifications and reports. Gerard’s experience also includes feasibility studies for low and zero carbon technologies along with Part L Criterion 1 & 3 studies, reports and simulations. Gerard has extensive experience in dynamic building energy and performance computer modelling using IES VE.
Gerard has been both the lead and team mechanical design engineer on a wide variety of national and international building sector projects including, healthcare, office, educational, hotel, governmental, industrial and retail building design.
