Tees Whitewater Course Upgrade

Patrick Parsons are proud to be appointed by British Waterways as Consultant Engineer on this World Class Project. The Design Team is being lead by EPD (experts in the field of paddle sports) with Patrick Parsons providing the design.
The improvements involve reconfiguring the course and installing four 12metre long by 3.1metre diameter Archimedes screws to pump the water needed to create guaranteed conditions for rafters, canoeists and other white water sporting activities.
When not required to pump water around the course, the four screws will use excess water to generate electricity, making the course sustainable in energy terms.
