Peter Stienlet
Managing Director, BEng CEng MICE
As co-owner of the company, Peter takes on a managerial role within Patrick Parsons controlling and implementing business strategy, managing finances, running projects, business development, employee progression and recruitment. He is also responsible for leading a variety of projects specialising in commercial and residential property, white-water courses and leisure.
Peter started his working life at the former Patrick Parsons partnership and later graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Civil Engineering. After gaining his qualifications, Peter joined another prestigious consultant engineering practice in Newcastle and became chartered in a record time of just two years. Despite being offered partnership at the firm, Peter decided to instead pursue a life-time goal of owning his own business.
Through his links with Patrick Parsons, Peter became aware of an opportunity to buy into the company and quickly raised the money to
achieve his goal. Originally purchasing a sixth of the business in 2002, Peter facilitated a Management Buy Out in 2006 in which he and Director Mark Turner gained overall control of the company.
