Astrakhan White Water Course, Russia

As part of a programme for the Russian Canoe Slalom Federation, Patrick Parsons has provided outline design of the white water course at two sites in Russia– Bogorodskoye and Astrakhan. The design took into account a local electricity supply and site conditions and topography, ensuring that loadings and capacity were correctly measured and sufficient in creating an effective flow of water through the course.  Patrick Parsons also provided the design of seating gallery provisions.

Patrick Parsons is currently involved in the development of three white water courses in Russia ranging in budget from £20-30million.

Astrakhan has passed feasibility stage and the outline design has been produced. We have provided structural and civil design and engineering services on the project.
