Patrick Parsons have recently gained approval from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) to operate an approved ICE Training Scheme.
The multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm, which has eight UK-based and two international offices, now offers a structured training programme to support their graduate engineers through their initial professional development and on to a professional qualification including incorporation and chartered membership of the Institute.
The scheme developed with the ICE enables Patrick Parsons to help their engineers to gain the experience they need to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in a work environment to enable them to progress to a Professional Review with the ICE, supported and supervised throughout by the supervising civil engineer (SCE).
Anthony Cowey, who is the infrastructure director at Patrick Parsons and has been approved by the ICE to fulfil the role of SCE, commented: “We are delighted that Patrick Parsons’ training and development scheme has been accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers. This training scheme offers continuous development within an approved and structured scheme and enables us to help our employees to optimise their talents and maximise their potential thus contributing to the first rate service we provide to our clients.”
