Patrick Parsons were invited to be a delegate at the Annual Scottish Rail Conference, which took place in Edinburgh on Tuesday 29th November 2016.
The conference is in its 9th year, ran in association with Network Rail, and provides the key focal point for all involved in Scottish rail. It features the Transport Minister, Network Rail and key partners from across the rail industry and has a focus on rail infrastructure and service development.
Patrick Parsons’ Director of Rail, Mustaq Pangarkar, spoke at the conference, along with the new Minister of Transport, Humza Yousaf and McArthur Green, among others.
Mustaq provided an interesting presentation which focused on ‘collaboration’ and it’s many forms, whether it be spreading of communication across national/global teams, sharing of ideas and risks on projects, numerous interfaces within departments and alike. He explored the history, developments and value of collaboration within the rail industry today.
It was an honour for Patrick Parsons to be invited to speak at such an important event, an opportunity which arose from our own relationship built with McArthur Green – proving that collaboration truly is key to developing business and gaining success. The invitation itself is a testament to the reputation Patrick Parsons are developing within the industry.
