EngineeringFest is being held as part of the Institution of Civil Engineers’ (ICE) 200 anniversary celebrations and aims to educate the public about the contribution that civil engineers make to our daily lives.
Patrick Parsons are supporting the interactive STEM event, which will be held on 31 May at Diggerland, a construction based theme park in Kent. Stephen Dellow, Director in our Guildford office, will be manning a stand at the event, which will see school children in the area coming along for a morning full of activities and careers advice.
Stephen commented: “We are delighted to sponsor this event in what is turning out to be an amazing year celebrating ICE’s 200 year anniversary.
“We are always keen to support STEM events and activities and this gives the children and our future generation a great opportunity to get real hands on experience of what a civil engineer does. It also gives me a chance to operate a huge excavator myself.”
