We are showing our commitment to developing our people by joining The 5% Club, an industry led initiative focussed on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students.
The 5% Club, initiated by Leo Quinn Group Group CEO of Balfour Beatty in 2013, is a movement of more than 500 employers providing ‘earn and learn’ opportunities to develop the skills and talents people need to become more employable and create meaningful careers. By joining The 5% Club, we commit to raising the number of apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formal programmes to 5% of our total workforce within five years. We are proud to join the club alongside our industry peers and clients.
At Patrick Parsons we are working with a number of schools and colleges to provide insight into engineering career opportunities, as well as investing in apprenticeships and graduate training programmes to develop the skills of our young employees.
Jane Crawley, Bid Manager at Patrick Parsons said, “Patrick Parsons are dedicated to investing and developing the skills of young people, as they begin their careers within engineering industry and we are excited to be part of The 5% Club. Over recent years we have taken on a number of apprentices and graduates, channelling their talents to give them the abilities they need to become the experts of the future. As our business continues to grow, we will build on these programmes as we expand our workforce.”
