Associate Director met HRH Prince Charles at Holy Island

Associate Director Nick Beckwith met HRH Prince of Wales at the official opening of the Lookout Tower at Holy Island on 24th July 2012. After visiting the tower and admiring the views HRH will unveil a new commemorative plaque.

Patrick Parsons have recently been involved in a number of projects on the island including the Look Out Tower, Rocket Field Visitor Centre and Development Proposals associated with improvements to the Harbour area providing Engineering and CDM Co-ordination services. Patrick Parsons involvement with the refurbishment of the existing Look Out Tower has been from early design concept stage providing a CDM Co-ordinator role associated with Health and Safety matters from design through to construction.

Nick Beckwith spent the morning on the island with the rest of the design team and the HRH and the Royal Party. Nick commented on the event, “It was a great honour to be invited to the official opening of the Look Out Tower by HRH Prince of Wales in which I had the pleasure of meeting Prince Charles who seemed genuinely impressed by the Look Out Tower, its location and the stunning views. The Royal visit was an extremely important day to the local community which was demonstrated by the number of locals providing a warm welcome to HRH Prince of Wales on his first ever visit to the island”
