On the 28th September, our teams celebrated National Inclusion Week by hosting an International ‘Bring a Dish’ lunch to raise money for our Charity of the Year, The Honeypot Children’s Charity.

National Inclusion Week is a week dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to create inclusive workplaces. As an equal opportunities employer diversity and inclusion are of extreme importance to our business, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected as an individual at Patrick Parsons.

To celebrate different cultures our teams came together with everyone’s favourite thing…food! Each office was given a list of countries for participants to draw from at random, they then had to bring in a dish which represented that country. We enjoyed dishes from all over the world, including Sushi, Samosas, Dim Sum, Fish & Chips, Jamaican Ginger Cake and so much more!

Mihajlo Gojkovic, Patrick Parsons Associate, said: “Our bring a dish event turned out to be amazing. A lot of people put a lot of effort in and there was some really good food. There were some very funny moments…I don’t know how a KFC is Australian! It brought us all together and we’re pleased that we were able to raise more money for The Honeypot Children’s Charity.”

Tara Kennedy, Marketing Manager, said: ” I thoroughly enjoyed organising this celebration of cultures for National Inclusion Week and it was great to see our teams trying new foods from across the world.”

The fundraiser was a success, raising over £280 for The Honeypot Children’s Charity, whilst eating some delicious food. A big thank you and well done to everyone involved!
