Patrick Parsons’ Manchester office (formerly BCM) have been shortlisted across not one, but three categories in the North West Regional Construction Awards.
The awards, which are hosted by the School of the Built Environment at the University of Salford, Constructing Excellence North West and the Centre for Construction Innovation, aim to celebrate outstanding examples of best practice, commitment, and collaborative and sustainable project delivery across the built environment.
St Margarets CE School has been shortlisted in both the Digital Construction and Integration & Collaboration Awards. The Manchester office worked on this new-build facility with ISG as part of a £25m schools deal awarded through the North West Construction Hub.
An innovative new modular home product – ‘LaunchPod’ – which is a great example of smart M&E plug & play for offsite construction, has also been shortlisted in the Innovation Category.
Head judge Professor Peter McDermott from the University of Salford said: “The judges were faced with a difficult task this year, given the incredibly high standard of submissions. It is a privilege to witness how the sector in the North West is responding to both the challenges of the market place and a changing policy environment.
“The North West’s clients and supply chains are not waiting around, they are driving change themselves through excellence in procurement and through new business models. We look forward to meeting all of our finalists at the awards ceremony in July and showcasing the talent we have in the region.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 6 July 2018 at The Principal Hotel, Manchester.
