Patrick Parsons’ Guildford office, The Stilwell Partnership, have been appointed by Jardin Smith International Pte Ltd to provide engineering consultancy services for the construction of a solar farm near Fareham in Hampshire.

The site itself covers an area of 7 hectares of arable farmland near Fontley Farm, North of the village of Titchfield and planning permission for the project has now been granted.

The solar farm would be made up of panels oriented towards the South and be operated for 25 years  without preventing the site to also be utilised to graze animals. With new access to the site being required, The Stilwell Partnership provided designs for the access arrangements to the site, advised on the construction vehicle access routes and produced a Construction Management Plan.
