Cala Homes enlisted the services of Patrick Parsons to provide structural engineering consultancy for their Langley Court development in Beckenham, Greater London.
Langley Court is a large scheme comprising of 280 new homes including two-to-five-bedroom houses and apartments, together with a 100-bedroom care home for Signature Senior Lifestyle. Our engineering team delivered consultancy on the three apartment blocks within the site, which range from four to five storeys in height and are a mixed tenure of private and shared ownership.

The curved shape of the apartment buildings provided our team with a unique challenge when faced with setting out the columns of the structure, however by utilising a Revit model we were able to overcome this issue.
