At Patrick Parsons we’ve been doing our bit for the community with the donation of 14 PC’s, from our IT Department, to The Woodlands School in Durham.
The Woodlands School provides provision for both permanently excluded pupils and those identified as close to permanent exclusion. The service they provide is essential to helping children gain the education they deserve, in an environment that meets their individual needs and prepares them for a successful educational future.
We are all too aware of the difficulties that schools have faced recently, due to the ongoing pandemic, as well as facing budget cuts and struggling to provide essential equipment to their pupils.
Helen Atkins, Assistant Head Teacher at The Woodlands said, “I would just like to say a huge thank you to all at Patrick Parsons on behalf of the staff and pupils at The Woodlands for the kind donation of PC’s that you delivered last week. They will be fully utilised within school.”
This donation was kindly organised by our IT Manager, Stephen Pearson, he said “It’s been a tough year for all, and these challenging times have highlighted that the most vulnerable in our society are struggling to gain an education, which we all take for granted. These PC’s will allow children excluded from mainstream education to continue their studies in a safe and welcoming environment.”
We’re pleased that we are able to provide the tools to enable The Woodlands School to enhance their education offering.
