Two Patrick Parsons Projects Nominated for Brent Design Awards

We are pleased to announce that two projects our teams have provided Engineering Consultancy for, have been shortlisted for the first-ever Brent Design Awards.

The Brent Design Awards are new for 2023 and have been created to celebrate the great buildings and places within the culturally diverse borough of Brent.

Grand Union (Phase 1) by St George and Old Dairy House delivered by Fruition Properties are both in the running for the People’s Choice Award in the Mixed-Use category.

Phase 1 of the development is comprised of 400 homes, community hub and commercial space. Located in Alperton, Grand Union is a canal-side neighbourhood set within 22 acres of landscaped spaces, providing high quality homes. On completion of all phases Grand Union will deliver 3,350 homes, a waterside piazza with cafes, restaurants, bars.

Old Dairy House, in Kensal Rise, is a three and a half story development featuring 16 homes and commercial space. The homes are made up of a mixture of 1,2 & 3 bedroom boutique apartments, all with private outdoor space and a communal roof terrace.

The People’s Choice Award allows residents and those working in Brent to choose their favourite building or place, from a shortlist of 27 entries across 5 different categories. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place at Brent Civic Centre in May 2023.
