Olivia Plunkett-Hanson appointed as Supervising Civil Engineer

Our Associate, Olivia Plunkett-Hanson, has become Patrick Parsons Supervising Civil Engineer. This role, which has been appointed by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), means that Olivia will be able to guide and support graduate civil engineers within Patrick Parsons on ICE Training Schemes.

Olivia joined Patrick Parsons in September 2020  and has been a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers since 2018, she said “ I’m pleased and excited to be taking on this next responsibility for Patrick Parsons and the Institution of Civil Engineers. I received so much support throughout my own training scheme and professional review, I’m eager to help others through theirs.”

Olivia will be working with our HR Manager, Jo Morton, to develop an internal training programme for all colleagues interested in developing their professional qualifications towards Chartership. When discussing Olivia’s appointment, Jo commented, “It’s fantastic news to have Olivia approved as our SCE. I’m looking forward to working with Olivia on the programme which can support our colleagues to further develop their qualifications and CPD.”

The ICE training scheme will be a structured programme run by Patrick Parsons, with staff receiving assistance and direction throughout their training from a Designated Engineer and Olivia as our Supervising Civil Engineer.

With a number of our team members already registered, we look forward to seeing them develop through the training programme and complete their Professional Review.
