Patrick Parsons provided project management, design and supervision of all engineering, construction, environmental and compliance aspects of this complex waste management facility, comprising non-hazardous landfill and soil treatment facility.
Input initially comprised PPC Permit compliance negotiations with SEPA. Successful resolution of these issues led to a PPC Permit Variation Application to implement a novel liner system redesign and associated revised hydrogeological risk assessment, creating significant void and c. £200k cost savings.
Landfill Management Plans and systems were reviewed and updated.
Engineering design, slope stability assessment and Construction Quality Assurance services were provided for landfill lining, engineered containment capping, landfill gas, surface water management and leachate management systems.
