Havering Farm operates a plant hire and scaffolding business, which results in a significant number of large goods vehicles regularly entering and exiting the site. The narrow access road, which shares a public right of way, was in very poor condition and the culvert crossing Whitmoor Common Brook watercourse was dilapidated.
With a proposal to improve the access road and culvert to current design, our Ash Vale office was appointed to provide a single one-stop design and management service for the civil engineering improvement of the area.
As well as submitting a planning application for the civil engineering improvement, we also provided a detailed engineering design and specification, as well as a flood risk assessment, for the site.
Patrick Parsons also provided a total procurement service from planning application through to project management of the construction project, which saw the new carriageway designed to safely accommodate vehicle and pedestrian movements.
