We were appointed by Crest Nicholson to undertake the detailed design of a number of highway improvements for a site at Longcross Chertsey, Surrey. The works included a significant length of shared cycleway/ footway and a dedicated route for buses only.

One section of the design included a new road and shared cycleway facilities to a local train station. At the station consideration was given to all road users and a turning facility for buses was provided. Storage for bikes and scooters were also provided and careful use of different materials considered.

The facilities were designed to adoptable standards, taking into consideration all road users. A separate footpath was also designed through a landscaped area, taking into consideration all ecological issues.
