At the beginning of the year we voted for The Honeypot Children’s Charity to be our Charity of the Year and our teams have been getting creative in their efforts to raise as much money for the organisation that supports child careers across the UK.

As a result of their hard work, our people have fundraised over £2,400 for The Honeypot Children’s Charity this year. We have held a number of activities from a monthly Step Challenge, to a ‘Bring a Dish’ lunch, have participated in the London Santa in the City Run, Christmas Jumper Day, as well as hosting a sweepstake for the 2022 World Cup.

Neil Hobbs, Patrick Parsons Managing Partner, said: “The generosity from our people, clients, friends and family has been wonderful to see. Our teams have put a lot of effort into organising a number of events and we have all enjoyed the competition that these have brought to our day to day work. Thank you to everyone that has supported our fundraising efforts.”

Honeypot is the only service that offers consistent outreach support and respite breaks for young careers between the ages of 5 and 12. Without Honeypot, many of these children would have nowhere else to turn. Their aim is to build brighter futures for young carers, and create happy childhood memories that they can cherish for a lifetime.

Tara Kennedy, Patrick Parsons Marketing Manager, said: “We have all had a lot of fun coming together to participate in all of the different activities in support of The Honeypot Children’s Charity. It has been great to see everyone’s competitiveness come out, especially with the step challenge that we held across all four of our offices for 9 months. I didn’t manage to win, but I really enjoyed pushing myself, plus there’s always next year!”

Patrick Parsons will continue to support The Honeypot Children’s Charity throughout 2023 and we aim to raise even more for this worth while cause.
