Planning secured for 150 homes at Leagate Farm, Lincolnshire
Patrick Parsons have been appointed to provide transportation and highways advice for the construction of 150 new houses, a farm shop and 3 play areas at land south of Leagate Farm, Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The land is part of a number of sites identified and allocated by East Lindsey District Council in their local plan as suitable for growth.
Spanning a 6 acre site, a variety of different house types will be constructed, with 25 one bed units, 36 two bed units, 58 three bed units and 30 four bed units planned. Out of 150 new homes, 103 properties will be put up for open market sale while the remaining 47 will deliver much needed affordable housing for the local community.
As part of our work, a variety of reports relating to the transportation and highways were produced. A detailed transport assessment was created that identified relevant national and local policies, which were applied to the development. Additionally, our team were responsible for delivering a noise report and flood risk & drainage strategy.
A thorough highways impact and trip generation study was carried out, this involved junction modelling and assessing the impact of the development on a local junction. A comprehensive analysis was also performed, this identified sustainable transport modes close to the site. In addition to this, a travel plan was produced which sets ambitious targets in relation to sustainable transport movement for development.
Patrick Parsons project managed the planning application and we are pleased to announce that planning has now been secured for the development, we look forward to sharing more updates on this as the project progresses.
