Our Associate shares his thoughts on drainage design with New Civil Engineer

Our Associate, Andy Johnson, is featured in this months New Civil Engineer. As a designer of drainage schemes and as a zero pollution ambassador for not-for-profit organisation Stormwater Shepherds, Andy discusses why now is the time to actively promote sustainable drainage design.

“Sustainable and multiple benefit drainage is far more achievable and manageable than most people think and can be promoted in multiple ways through intelligent design. Water needs to be at the heart of site and spatial planning with emphasis on generating blue/green corridors where possible.”
