Patrick Parsons engaged in this project when advice given by others in Phase 1 led to difficulties in ground engineering and infrastructure provision, leading to cost and delivery programme over-runs.
Patrick Parsons provided ground engineering works to remove buried obstructions and provide a development platform suitable for raft foundations. The site turnover was 1.5m.
To prevent damage to the adjacent roads and new buildings Patrick Parsons managed the careful excavation of significant concrete structures buried in the ground.
Provided services included completing a supplementary ground investigation, earthworks specification, supervision of the earthworks, NHBC liaison and a validation report on completion of the earthworks.
