Deptford Foundry Case Study

Patrick Parsons was appointed to provide civil and structural engineering services for the Deptford Foundry residential scheme in London. This Anthology development consists of eight buildings and one tower, offering a total of 276 private homes. In addition to the residential units, the development includes 32,000 sq ft of studio space provided by Second Floor Studio & Arts for over 450 artists, as well as beautifully designed communal gardens.
Located on Arklow Road, Deptford Foundry benefits from its proximity to the New Cross and Deptford rail stations. With a convenient 6-minute train journey to London Bridge and a 23-minute train journey to London St Pancras, the location offers excellent connectivity.
The project involved the transformation of a former metal foundry site, and Patrick Parsons played a crucial role in its successful completion.
