The Cheltenham High Street improvements were a European Union funded scheme, which was intended to rejuvenate the ageing High Street. The improvement works, carried out by our Ash Vale (Surrey) team, involved repaving using Yorkstone paving slabs, new planters, benches, cycle racks and street lighting, and associated services diversions. We were appointed by Cheltenham Borough Council to undertake the detailed design, including the levels design, drainage, and typical construction details and sections. We also prepared the drawings and made the submission for the S278 Agreement, as well as answering site queries once the works had started on site.
