The scheme has created a new urban quarter comprising 1,818 private and affordable homes, a hotel, 37,000m² of commercial space, a health and fitness centre, club, restaurants, shops and community facilities.
Patrick Parsons has been involved from before the site was purchased. As a former gas works site, the ground was subject to decontamination and removal of existing foundations. Drainage strategy and flood risk design was also provided by Patrick Parsons, in addition to civil and structural design.
We are now working on the next phase of the scheme; a unique waterside development called Chelsea Creek.
