Heritage

As part of the on-going development of this World Heritage Site the National Trust have appointed a professional team to deliver a ground source heating system to replace the existing LPG heating system, as well as a major re-development of the car parking facilities for the site. PPL are providing all the infrastructure design and detailing associated with the with this ongoing development work.

PPL are contributing to the package of details which are to be submitted to Harrogate BC planning department. A sustainable urban drainage solution has been developed to facilitate the disposal of the surface water which will be generated by the development. This will involve the use of permeable paving materials and will also ensure that water will be available for the ground source heating system that is proposed.
