Ouseburn Park, Newcastle upon Tyne

The inner city regeneration of Ouseburn Park comprises Jesmond Dene, a steep sided gorge containing the River Ouse, and Heaton Park.
Works to Jesmond Dene undertaken were the refurbishment of the 18th century Millfield House with a new build education facility extension and modification to the medieval Mill Race. Also the erection of new pets corner pens, various ancillary buildings and re-modelling of landscaping with erosion protection to the steep sided gorge. A new weathering steel footbridge was constructed below Armstrong Bridge adjacent to Benton Bank.

Works undertaken to Heaton Park were the refurbishment of Heaton Park Pavilion, restoration of listed monuments, Heaton Windmill and King Johns Palace (Camera of Adam), and remodelling of landscaping.
